BOPE - The Rio Aftermath

 

This NPR report covers the aftermath of a massive and deadly police raid in a Rio de Janeiro favela, which resulted in over 130 deaths. Officials called it a success against the Red Command Drug and Extortion Gang and the people that live in the favelas were 87% in favour of the police.
